Patience in the Process
I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. Ecc.9:11. The process is not a race, to be whom you are called to be takes, persistence and determination, to keep getting up, and never giving up. Stay in your word, don’t get distracted by what others are doing, you know nothing of their walk. Be patient with yourself. The word teaches in Philippians 1:6 that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. He will finish what he has begun in you. Hold onto His promises and be relentless in fear and trembling, working out your salvation

until the day He returns. We tend to focus on where we aren’t, instead of how far we have come. If it is your determination to be better each and every day,and you have made a resolve to change, it will come to pass. Remember this, you may not be who, and where you would like to be, but if you have given your life to Christ, you are definitely not who you used to be. Be encouraged, and stay on the pursuit, of the greater you.
