Are the voices of the past, still resonating in your attitude ? You may have been told discouraging things, that are keeping you from seeing past your current situation. Doubt, insecurity and self-loathing, could be playing over and over again in your head. You may be emotionally worn down, paralyzed by depression and anger. This is what happens when we don’t forgive ourselves or others. It could be others that are trying to keep a record of every wrong we have done. We find it hard to believe in ourselves. Well if it seems impossible to believe in yourself, try believing in God. Ephesians 2:10 Says, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. 1 Cor. 3:16 Ask the question, Do you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race , a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creation.

 The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. His grace is a gift, receive it, and take on your new nature. Allow Him to show you who you really are. The  voices that say otherwise are lies of the enemy, and you don’t have to accept them. See yourself new, restored, blood washed and loved by our heavenly Father. Make a choice today, to let go of the past ,and take hold of the future, that God has planned for you.
